DIG PINK 2011 : 10/27/2011 @ MPHS

This October 27th, the Girls Volleyball Teams from Mountain Pointe High School and Desert Vista High School will partner for the fourth (4th) year to support the goals of the Side-Out Foundation (Side-Out), which are to raise money and awareness about cancer through the recreational activity of volleyball. We will join over 1000 Colleges, High Schools and Middle Schools across the country who are also committed to this cause.  The name of the Side-Out-Foundation underscores their purpose - a "side-out" in volleyball occurs when one team wins a point while the other team is serving, therby regaining serve or control of play. Likewise in the war against Cancer, The Side-Out Foundation supports health care professionals and researchers help women and men with Cancer maintain / regain control of their own lives through improved awareness, education, detection, treatment, and cure, thereby enabling them to live life to the fullest. The Side-Out Foundation is a 501 (c) 3 Non Profit, #20-2510044. 

This match is always an exciting event as well as a fundraising effort to promote breast cancer awareness and research. The fundraising goal of the Side-Out Foundation is to raise over $1,000,000 this year! Let's do our part and get involved!

Here is how YOU can get involved to make this a successful event!

1. Invite Friends to come watch competitive Volleyball and wear pink.
   Get ready for a PINK OUT, on October 27th!
2. Support our Players selling Raffle tickets for great prizes!
   Raffle ticket sales to begin in September
3. Direct friends & family from all over the country to the Dig Pink in Tukee website, to make a donation. Make sure they know to make the donation via the Mt. Pointe High School icon.    www.digpinkintukee.com
   
4. To share the Sponsorship Opportunities with local businesses in our community
   Sponsorship opportunities are available at the Title level of $5,000 and other sponsorship levels of $50, $250, and $500 +. (for more details, please download the appropriate sponsorship form from the link below.)
   
5. Become Part of the Dig Pink Committee!
   This committee works with the Mountain Pointe committee to make this event come together. It's a fun volunteer opportunity that raises funds at the same time. (see above for meeting dates and location)
   
6. Raffle Donations- We need all kinds of raffle donations to make this event a success! If you would like to make a donation, please download the raffle donation collection form from the link below and contact Anita at anita@southmountaindeli.com and/or Marta at marta@westusa.com
   We are looking for sport memorabilia items, travel opportunities, gift cards, event tickets, spa outings, dining certificates and so much more! Be creative!
